I and friend of mine recently completed a trek to Island Peak (6,189m) in the Himalayas with Mountain EcoTreks and I cannot praise our guide, Lokendra, enough for his exceptional leadership and support throughout the journey.
From the moment we met Lokendra in Kathmandu, it was clear that he was not just a guide, but a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the mountains, the terrain, and the challenges that come with summiting Island Peak. His calm demeanor, vast knowledge, and reassuring presence put us all at ease, especially as we began our trek in the lower altitudes and gradually made our way higher into the Khumbu region.
What truly sets Lokendra apart is his attention to safety and well-being. Trekking at high altitudes can be daunting, but Lokendra's experience and attention to acclimatization schedules made all the difference. He was always mindful of our individual paces, ensuring that we stayed hydrated, well-fed, and properly rested. Great Experience Trekking Near Kathmandu!
Me and my friend Rob had a wonderful day trekking and visiting some locations near Kathmandu. We left in the early hours of the morning to catch the sun rising at Nagarkot Hill, which was a beautiful sight to behold. We then hiked the surrounding valley and eventually Dev, our great guide, took us to the Namobuddha Monastery for a look around. Dev was helpful, knowledgeable, humourous, and made sure our experience went without any issues. Highly recommended, hoping to reconnect on my new trip :)

Great Experience Trekking Near Kathmandu!

Great Experience Trekking Near Kathmandu!
Me and my friend Rob had a wonderful day trekking and visiting some locations near Kathmandu. We left in the early hours of the morning to catch the sun rising at Nagarkot Hill, which was a beautiful sight to behold. We then hiked the surrounding valley and eventually Dev, our great guide, took us to the Namobuddha Monastery for a look around. Dev was helpful, knowledgeable, humourous, and made sure our experience went without any issues. Highly recommended, hoping to reconnect on my new trip :)

Trekking near Katmandu with Dev
We spent 3 wonderful days near Kathmandu, during our trekking all the time Dev was our side helping and explaing us custom and culture of fantastic country that is the Nepal!!!
